Praveen Paripati, the visionary founder of our U.S. partner SuGanit Bio-Renewables LLC, is defined by his dedication to sustainability and innovation. A computer scientist with over 30 years of experience in complex problem-solving and process design across various disciplines, he leverages deep technical expertise to engineer sustainable solutions. Praveen has several patents covering SBR technologies and has also worked extensively in AI, especially in reasoning under uncertain conditions. Praveen is the Chairman of Swachh Bio and will be the strategic guide for Swachh Bio’s growth and expansion.
Harsha Pasunuri serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Swachh Bio and leads overall project execution, drawing on his experience in technology leadership roles at major U.S.-based organizations. In this role, he oversees multiple complex engagements in parallel, coordinating across technical, regulatory, and commercial work streams while ensuring alignment between partners, timelines, and strategic objectives. His background managing high-stakes, multi-team initiatives enables Swachh Bio to advance projects efficiently from development through execution.
Shiva Vedavalli is a finance and business strategy professional with over 15 years of experience in corporate finance, advisory, investment facilitation, and business expansion. As a CFO, his focus is on strengthening financial governance, driving sustainable growth, and aligning financial strategy with business objectives. His experience spans business restructuring, optimizing operational efficiency, and managing relationships with financial institutions, investors, and government stakeholders across sectors including infrastructure, advisory, and hospitality. He provides hands-on experience in financial planning, capital allocation, and scaling operations across the business lifecycle: from ideation and growth to restructuring and exit planning.
Dr. Guneet Kumar will serve as Chief Scientific Advisor, providing scientific and technical guidance. Dr. Kumar is an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur and holds a PhD in Biochemical Engineering from Virginia Tech. Dr. Kumar brings 20+ years of experience in biochemistry and 15 years of experience in large-scale fermentations and protein purification, having served as a contract scientist for In Vitro Technologies and consultant for Dovetail Technologies. Dr. Kumar held various positions at the University of Maryland, where she worked as a Protein Purification Specialist and as a Research Associate for the Bio-Scale Up Facility at the College Park Campus.
